Julien Tousignant

Julien Tousignant is Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets at Desjardins Global Asset Management (DGAM). He is a member of the Emerging Markets Team and co-manages the Emerging Markets Equity portfolios. His research focuses on currencies and various macro analysis. Julien joined DGAM in 2021 as part of the Hexavest integration. Prior to joining Hexavest, Julien filled the role of research assistant working on matters pertaining to public finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree (2011) and a master’s degree (2013) in Economics from the Université de Montréal, in addition to being a CFA charterholder (2017). His academic path is marked by several distinctions and publications.
